This careened off a cliff once the polygamy crept in. That's always cringe.

Alternate title : "The Demon Lord Who Was A Loli Harem King". Still a really fun read and I did get a little invested in the characters

It went strong until the hero and the wolf girl married him... I mean it really looked like the dragon girl would have been the wife while the 3 small girls were like his little sisters and/or daughters and the hero was just a recurring friend character, the wolf girl was a folower of the big wolf familiar and the sheep girl was curious about him but no. Also, a pretty late introduction as a harem... i think that makes it a bit worse, that you are under the presimption that it would be 'dragon girl best girl' and suddenly boom 3 wives

it´s kinda funny how in these kinds of stories the Kingdom always gets in serious trouble with ordinary criminals or random beasts/monsters as soon as the hero/hero-party is away or whatever. What a pathetic society. Makes you wonder how they even exist in the first place.

It's because Japanese/Korean people fail to write compelling stories about states as they don't have good experiences with it. They are trying to mimick what would be a western Kingdom whitout what makes a western kingdom

not sure if it´s a lack of experience rather then a lack of ambition in creating a coherent world building. After all, it is easier to go with a generic formula then coming up with your own stuff. The only difference to western media (aka Disney $ co.) seems to be that the anime/manga characters are likable enough to forgive the errors in the world building.
