Yeah, since it was licensed in en officially it isn't really supposed to be on MD.
Other...less reputable sites don't care about this, and other than that MD also allows groups to remove their releases if they don't want them hosted here. Those other sites also don't give a damn about this either.
Between these two things there are a number of series that aren't found on MD (at least if reported/spotted that the rules were broken) although those series that were removed, or not even posted to start, by the scanlation teams themselves, have had some folks going back through to release their own versions, so that MD can have the tl'd series while still allowing groups to control there releases.
But this is far from anywhere near complete atm.
Anyway, yeah, if series has an official translation those aggregator sites are usually about the best option (aside from purchasing to support the author=series.)

@Otakuman706 im not even talking about those series. i mean their are some series that are actively released on Mangadex, but if you look for them on other sites, you can find like upto 10 more chapters that have been done, just not yet put on mangadex. and it takes them upto like a month or more for those chapters to actually maake their way onto the site. like Release that Witch, you can find i think the next 5+ chapters on other sites, but they havent been put on mangdex yet.

@wiiguy no shit sherlock, mangadex is just a hosting site, and you can find additional chapters of certain series on other sites (usually the scanlators own sites) that they havent yet put on mangadex.

@Otakuman706 That's not really true. Licensed series are fine, official releases being uploaded isn't unless their license is defunct or it was uploaded with permission somehow (there's a number of people releasing their own original content on here now, so that'd fit that bill).
