You'll have your share of now knowing who is the bad dude, be sure. Think of the demons as machines for now, the ones that we have seen aren't actually sentient, they do what they are told and that's about it. But as the story progresses it gets very convoluted, beginning from the very reason for their existence and such.

@Kaarme
And your explanation is slightly wrong. Mythological demons are not paragons of evil or punishers of sins. That's a perversion made as a simplification later on. They are either paragons of freedom (Lilith abandoned heaven because she didn't want to be bound to mankind, Lucifer fell from heaven because he didn't think God had the right to punish humans for the freedom he himself gave them, etc), unpredictability (Bleezebub is the incarnation of all plagues and pests, Abbadon of all illness, etc) or they are bound to the will of man (Mephistopheles gives wishes, and many minor demons are actually there to be summoned. The art of summoning them is considered evil by definition because the price to pay for it is paid in blood or decency, but the demon itself is no evil, the summoner is).
In this work, the demons mentioned (Andraelphas, Valefor, Andras) are hermetic demons, which don't belong to the "standart" christian mythology. They belong to a sect called "The Golden Dawn" which is another can of worms (Not exactly because the book was translated by the Golden Dawn, not written by them, but knowing those madlads it's unwise to assume there is no personal affect in what's written in the only known version of the thing). As a curiosity, Zagan is the elected leader of the demons in the book, all other "kings" get the title either through inheritance or force.

That block on page 8 makes no sense lol. I don't usually pay attention to that kinda stuff but it's so glaringly dumb

the manga seems to have left out that orobas actually instructed raphael to drink his blood. raphael refused, and orobas made him promise to do it.

@bobbybiracial
that gets covered. he's just a doof who looks scary.

"If you are that dude's child then I have to kill you"
Also "He was a great dude and I hope you are proud of him"
After that, anything he says seems like a lie...

Wait wait wait. Who poisoned the girl then? I guess they were just mistaken in assuming he was the one?

@Vickyboi He didn't make an effort to dodge the obvious attack she used.

I feel bad for Fol on page 33. It has to be extremely distressing to be told in no uncertain terms that the righteous rage and hatred that has been festering within your heart for so long not only has no valid target, but no such target ever existed to begin with, all because you lacked access to crucial information from the start.

I disagree with Raphael's answer, though. There is something that she could and in fact should hate: The Demons. If it weren't for them, Orobas wouldn't have had to lay down his life, and Fol would still have a father to live happily with.

... Come to think of it, what happened to Fol's mother?

I don't really want to spoil stuff but here it. Beware: this is LN stuff that's quite far ahead of the current manga. About 3~4 volumes ahead. Open at your own discretion and don't open if you are not extremely curious.
Demons are not to blame. They are inherent to the existence of the "world". In the most literal sense, Orobas is being "evil" in resisting them. Raphael knows this, thus he doesn't blame them. Also they have no will to speak of, so they make for a poor excuse of a hatred outlet. Some of this is already implied at this point or has been openly disclosed, but it's less evident in the manga than it is in the novel (because they won't be wall of texting what Zagan discovers in each book in the manga, while the author goes into somewhat more detail in the novel). The story gets very complicated in regards to the past and dragons, and demons, at some point.
About Foll's mother, I don't remember her being mentioned at any point. Anything about Orobas' or Marchosias' past falls into one of two categories: either it's mentioned as legend, rumor or conjecture; or it's given in a very vivid and exact form to the reader, so that there is no misunderstanding at all. Foll's mother is not in the second category for sure. And if she is mentioned as a rumor or conjecture, I don't remember.
