Nephilim are children born of angels and humans, too dangerous to roam free and unable to be killed, they were confined until the day of judgement (you can look it up in the Book of Enoch, or by searching info on the Grigori, the angels who descended to mingle with humans).

Jesus, I absolutely love this manga. I'm glad that the MC isn't a complete, stereotypical goody two shoe who just happens to be called evil. He's more of a chaotic neutral if anything who seeks only his own purpose for the most part, which is the perfect MC for this IMO. Neffie and the MC are so dam cute!
