A couple minor complaints -
1. In that scenario, doesn't it make it more fitting to call them "demon lords" or similar instead of "demon kings?" I think they're really degrading the title of "king." Especially this would make more sense since the first once introduced mentioned "the higher ups" which clearly indicates a hierarchy. A "Demon King" would clearly be the one at the top.
2. Guns? Really?

@bk3k Maou is often translated as either. Which is fine... because due to various definitions, they're actually synonyms. Words often have a lot more flexibility than people give them credit for. However, if we were to make the argument you want to regarding this, I'd offer the opinion that lord is potentially a higher title than king. There are times when lord is used to refer to deities, which should likely be considered a greater being than some king. Speaking of which, actually, a lot of these settings with a "demon lord" have a thing where his or her top four lieutenants are the "four heavenly kings."

Unrelated to that reply: Man, the two series being adapted to manga by this author that are on here share a universe but could not be more different from each other. A lot of people who like one might not like the other.

To be honest if a modern person from our world got summoed into a fantasy land and could materialise weapons, chances are they would be better off with firearms, rather than a sword or whatnot. I have experience with a variety of guns, but I would be poor with a sword, aside from any possible boosted strength/agility giving an edge against amateur opponents.

@bk3k, king isn't even the top of the chain in most chains anyways.. there are even things like kingking, godking, emporerkinglord etc. Heck SuperSaiyanGodSuperSaiyan isn't as bad as some of the titles that have been given in games where they keep evolving the same character until they cant fit the title on the screen anymore..

tldr; The word "King" is just a word, there is no possible way to degrade a word, only the thing attached to said word can be degraded since words don't have feelings.

art is shit, concept is pretty good, characters also shit. Also how the hell does he know how to use multiple guns, and being able to just imagine something without knowing it's components is stupid. Grid had to literally memorise the biology of a hand, just to make it actually work, but I guess mc just gets a free functioning gun that's fully loaded

Art is pretty decent, concept is pretty good and it's too early to say, "characters also shit." However, I would argue they're pretty good as well; can only assume that person doesn't read much manga or watch anime. The world is just being introduced and they complain about character's weapon usage even though it's explained that they can materialize it from memory. And it doesn't take a genius to know how to shoot a gun, speaks more about him than this manga.


Yes guns, so what? Clearly he was reincarnated from the modern world. No different from a guy in a fantasy world conjuring a sword. A weapon they each would individually know about, nowhere does it state they have to know how the guns works or requiring any ammo.
