Normally people would complain about a romance manga intentionally dragging things out, but I guess when you disguise it under a nakedly farcical notion of "Oh we definitely can't have an adult x child romance, that would be so inappropriate" people forget all about that.

I've felt like the point of their age gap, from a narrative perspective, was probably meant to counterbalance the power dynamics of their previous lives, (where Ooma was in a position of power over Riri, who was his servant) so it feels a bit odd to worry about it like this. But, to be fair, the age difference thing is kinda implied to not actually be the reason she's hesitant.

I have been wondering whether her name might be better translated as "Ouma", to reflect that it's a flipping of the syllables from "Maou".
(Though I suppose it could also be written as "Ōma", but that feels stranger to me.)
