On chapter 1, where Kiri helps someone from being hanged. Its on page 19. And also on another part where he says to shut up to the bullies talking about his mother. On page 29"The look of defiance in his eyes" what resistance?
Side note: Minenami's a woman, if only according to MangaUpdates' profile on her. This is such a bullshit statement considering all the decent and/or great drama mangas equally made by men. Like Oyasumi Pun Pun and Boy's Abyss exist. I love how you chose Kimi ni Aisarete Itakatta when that is probably just good or on the same level as Boy's Abyss when it comes to melodrama. (I prefer Shiruka Bakaudon's shorter pornogrpahic works). If you anted a better work for your case you should have chosen Sensei's Pious Lie, Saturn Return, or something. Your comment just reeks of misandry misandry.
Not to mention the bullies left tons of footprints and fingerprints on the observatory... Imagine investigating a suicide from an observatory and found tons of freshly made footprints & fingerprints and yet didn't find such suspicious and important evidences relevant at all, they only took the note for evidence of suicide. And the police actually also didn't investigate the son's room. How incompetent the police can be?Just a general observation, but women are just general at writing compelling drama in manga then men. There's a lot of stupidity here, like that the porno being leaked in the first chapter is just her face photoshopped onto existing porn and not actual blackmailing material. the fact the car wouldn't have seen the kid getting run over, the fact the person driving the car never got charged for accidental manslaughter, the fact it took the mom like a day to find all this evidence definitively proving he was being bullied and never went to the police with it, the fact the bullies were just able to cover up their involvement in a way that is never explained and which the investigators buy uncritically , the aspect of the divorce being entirely undeserved and unnecessary, etc.
There's a lot of holes and contrivances in this story and I've noticed other manga, usually written by women, do these things better. Kimi ni Aisarete Itakatta, although much darker as a story, does a lot of this stuff better for instance. I think the start here is a bit rough and bit too fixated on sex and shock value over the narrative and making those shocking moments contextualized well.
yea, the husband clearly doesnt deserve sympathy. he's someone who work in catching a criminal but cant smell his own son death as criminal case. truly a failure. A seemingly happy kids, with caring parent somehow killing himself means theres severe external problems. people dont go suiciding without problems...Poor husband?! He thought in the 1st chapter that it was a suicide and not a murder. I would have left him too if he didn't believe what the wife saw. It's obvious he is only going by the forced letter by their son and not his wife's words. I agree with her leaving him. She wants revenge and he looks like the type to stop her.
You literally can't leave a room without leaving DNA evidence. Is Japanese police just incompetent? If so you might want to establish thatNot to mention the bullies left tons of footprints and fingerprints on the observatory... Imagine investigating a suicide from an observatory and found tons of freshly made footprints & fingerprints and yet didn't find such suspicious and important evidences relevant at all, they only took the note for evidence of suicide. I would not be surprised if the principal dude has relations to the trash bullies.I'm fine with revenge plots and all but the "I sucked the principal to get in" and all kind of bs like that is annoying so, I'm out.
Good luck for all who continue...
