Many of the issues seem to be grammatical rather than pure translation errors, so yes, I think AI proofreading could help. Kagi Translate has a proofreading mode that might be useful, and even tools like Grammarly can give you a clearer sense of where things go wrong. Over time, you'll start noticing patterns and improving naturally.

Ideally, you would find someone willing to help with proofreading, but it's totally fine to work with what you have for now.

Yes, there was a risk that the official translator could send a cease and desist order so the previous translator dropped it. I don't know how much of a risk that actually is though.

You communicate in English just fine on this forum, so I don't think it's going to take you much longer to be able to draft better copy for translations. Please consider the feedback here but don't take it to heart, you'll become an amazing translator when you're ready.
