The only thing I go against the MC's case is that he should make them aware of their mana comsumption. Not during battle, but they should know how they relied on him and how they should adapt in case they get separated by a trap, for example.

Tbf, pretty much everyone but the “Hero” was aware of that, he’s just being an arrogant bastard who rejects common sense
