Incredibly predictable. The pacing of this manga is really weird. Like, things are either stretched out longer than what it should be, or stuff involving major plot points just happens too quickly (Kyouka killing one horn and the stuff with Yuuki's sister most notably). Also, it feels like stuff isn't, Idk, serious enough? Like, there's not much at stake 'cause everything just works out. As I've mentioned before, I suspect the mangaka doesn't want to repeat what he did with akame ga kill and copy the tone of that series but so far this just feels a bit too lighthearted (for lack of a more apt word) in relation to the plot.
Eta: the best example I can think of for comparison in regards to things not seeming serious is Fairy Tail. The good guys in that series ALWAYS won no matter what. Big bad guy uses some super strong attack, but the good guys win anyways 'cause plot. It just makes things feel rather contrived. I like this series, I just want more from it.
