I'm placing my bets on the underdog, Mira.
Who are you going to bet on, Ren? Kyouka? Or are you also placing bets on Mira?

As far as I understand, Mira is super idealistic and Ren is too controlling and egocentric. Clearly, the correct option is Kyouka, but unless they have a good ace up their sleeve, it's quite difficult to win.

Oh, and I'm sorry, but I still don't like Yakumo, she seems like she'll be a pain in Yuuki's harem in the long run.

I would be shocked if Ren doesn't win, honestly. She's the entrenched power, and I think this is leading into a civil war of some kind
Also adds much needed tension because Rairen or whatever his name was gave us tension and some feeling of stakes and difficulty but got negged by hax. Any kills are (presumed) offscreen civvies. Damn.

How does this election thing even work? Like, either I glossed over some details or the nuances of it were never explained. 'Cause for example, what would happen if say, majority of the chiefs decided to run? That wouldn't really leave too many people left to vote. I vaguely recall something about there being a fight to ultimately determine who wins, but I'm probably misremembering. I just don't get it.

Anyways, I feel like maybe Kyouka will win, then Ren will act like she's accepting the outcome only to then step into her villain arc. Idk, I like this series but the writing flip flops between weak and predictable, to mildly strong with unexpected twists.

Every chapter I'm reminded that this manga is a cornucopia, a feast, a buffet even of fetishes. Yoga pants pansexuals, steamy bath scenes, a girl with a true Kung-Fu Grip...

How is it the political aspect took up most of my thoughts? Like how Ren definitely encourage Mira to run to take away from Kyouka's support base. Kinda like the 2000 elections, but I'm sure Nader had good intentions. I have no idea how this example popped into my head...

So Mira-san does run for the commander seat.
She is so worthy, but her chance to win is quite low. However, her winning will be quite a fun twist for this manga

This chapter is so intense, the author doesn't even have space for fan-service.

Still, super duper good chapter though. Thanks a lot for the translation
When you remember that Humanoid Shuuki's skin turns black, you'll realize Coco was showing her ass the whole time.

girl x girl wrestling with a slippery liquid involved
and girls kissing with saliva strands

That's her arm.

I can only see this going two ways.
1) Ren loses, gets super emotional and attacks the chiefs who voted against her and eventually siding with the Gods of Thunder making them truly formidable.
2) Ren wins the election and then orders Tenka, Kyoka, Yuuki and the two shuukified girls to be detained and held on some sort of crime, especially Tenka being that she brought the two girls to the chief meeting.
Either way I have a bad feeling. It is going to tear away at the heartstrings

Whatever it is the author has in store requires Ren to win the election, doesn't it? 'Cause of whatever the plot is around the remaining Gods' scheme has Ren at the top. If Kyouka or Mira were to win, their plan may fall apart.

Didn't expect Mira to run and I don't really have a sense of who would support her as of right now so I'm curious as to who they are both gonna target to erode Rens votes. Fubuki will probably vote for Kyouka in the end while Konomi and Yakumo could potentially be convinced the split between them.
I mean, Ren propped her up as a draining candidate to pull more support from her true opponent and only a small part of her support, she still has the majority in pocket due to the votes of the government and agency heads being worth more than the chiefs

There's eleven people who get votes so if all nine chiefs put their names forward as candidates then the two civilian votes would decide.
