Was just thinking about the standard in isekai where they equate the lock other world currency to the yen. I'm not going to go into exchange rates and economic policies and modern currency exchange markets. But I find it kind of hilarious that these non industrialized world have a currency rate where you need hundreds of thousands of it to buy a major purchase like a house. Especially when it is a gold rate that breaks down into lesser metal coinage. Its one thing if you can print up a 100k bill note or it is a digital number in a computer. But when a farmer sells his crop for 27,000 gold. Then he Jas to lug around massive sacks of coin and its only worth $270. The cap on non-industrialized worlds is down to what the mint can produce. Works for relating value to a modern Japanese audience but kind of funny.

traps should kill prey on the moment they activate :pepehmm:
You probably don't want that as a hunter... You need them alive for bloodletting, so that the meat can stay fresh for longer, allowing you to extract as much as possible from the game. Some culture even consumes the blood, which is a great source of protein and energy.

It is cruel, but fresh meat wasn't readily available back then. In a way, a bit of cruelty is the way to show respect for your prey. You don't want to waste too much from the life you took

village of married goddess
This is probably what will happen when more goddesses finds their husband and gets tired of workplace toxicity and Freya :dogkek:

Though they all go to the same world? I'm not liking Skuld crashed into Iris and Manabu's house but honestly I'm looking forward if it will develop to the point of becoming a village lol. Maybe Manabu as the village chief :pepehmm:

Honestly can see it both ways. Sure a live trap offers the trapper more options for a fresher product, OTOH I can't help but remember that meat quality sometimes drops because of the chemicals released due stress, fear, and pain.

So you either want something that cleanly kills the animal, or a live capture device that doesn't cause the animal stress or pain.
