Shame about the countess, too; she genuinely seemed like a nice person and a stabilizing force for Rosalia (though, that's obviously why she had to go, or else we wouldn't have the entire premise of Rosalia being a psycho).

Actually now that I say that, I think I enjoy Rosalia being such a shit villain more than if she were a flawless mastermind. She's selfish, capricious, and shortsighted and is just barely scraping by in spite of herself, so far. That's way more fun to watch than some smirking nerd who already prepared for every eventuality offscreen.

Going back in time even one second is preferable to zero seconds. It's still a massive advantage. Judicious use of the time-reversal mechanic is learned, not earned. Now, thanks to the tragic death of a grade-A MILF, she's learned. Though, considering how shitty she is, it's not a good thing. That witch is complicit, but she'll eventually kill her or be killed by her, I'm sure.
