I wonder what the crown prince and his lover are getting up to that's causing violet to have to take this route, i expect its some kind of conspiracy considering she purposely body swapped with someone out of sight that cannot be tracked and they know has no prior relationship to violet or her family.

I do feel bad for that young woman at the ball though. :c

The girl provoking Violet could be part of the plan ('oops I 'accidentally' did that' is pretty cliche act) to ruin her family in the end.
Like, say, if they keep provoking her until she does something unforgivable (...oh hey, guess why she's in jail)

And since their ultimate goal is to destroy her family, it's only fair she destroy theirs.

In fact, her swapping with Sophia might be something like Violet realize the conspiracy is deeper than she thought after the incident with the prince and decide to use Sophia's body to investigate the root of this so she can exterminate them all in one go.

Violet seem to have chosen Sophia specifically for the reputation of being a weirdo, likely because with Sophia's current reputation Violet can do whatever she want and people will not pay attention to it.

early chapter said the swapping body magic considered impossible feat no matter how great you are so they denied it and assumed it was her attempt to fool them. even this guard thought "violet" cried over her mother this chapter.

btw, I guess the plot gonna be similar to that scarlet from holy grail of eris. the high spec lone wolf villianess that got defeated by other faction. it feels sus by that last page when they decided to visit her after all that.

The lack of Violet's pov is truly a shame. We've already seen countless of stories with a good girl reincarnated into a villainess but a villainess reincarnated into a bullied girl is less common and has much more potential so I hope they don't waste it.
