Well, if they're referring to the Numbers, they'll always use numeric ("001"), whereas this new One guy will be spelled out (even in the raw).

Unless by "number" you meant the usual, normal number (like "He's the one," "The only one" etc)?

damn, I didnt expect that. 002 having a brother and he was "One" before Ijin was taken in as the numbers. Since half the numbers knew and the other half didn't know, I'm gonna assume Ijin doesn't know too. I'm gonna expect a "One" vs "001" showdown in the future

From what I understand, if even Mad Dog is afraid of him, we can say that he's something far worse than Mad Dog. But I imagine he has the mentality of the "Camp," so he protects those who were part of it. That's why 003 and 005 were preserved; otherwise, IJin and the rest of the "Numbers" would have already gone after "One."

You know "Lazarus," where the assassin was from a group created for that purpose? It kind of feels like "One" is equivalent to the assassin: he's aware of what he's doing, but he can become uncontrollable if he derives pleasure from it.

By the way: have you noticed 003 operating as a mercenary? Was she called separately or was she in some group she (didn't) join?
