Doesn't want her to join? She has been continuously trying to recruit Hiro to either join the military under her or become a contracted mercenary working for her. However, that's contrary to Hiro's chosen way of life. So, it's useless to keep interacting with her. Not to mention the girls told him that nobles have unreasonable power in the empire, so getting too close to them is a bad idea in general.

She has never tried leave her job in the military and join Hiro's mercenary gang. It seems pretty unlikely her old man, the marquis, would accept such an outrageous idea. Unless he has a habit of spoiling her rotten and never rejects her ideas.
