Kind of strange to say this to you, as I see you giving thanks in so many of the light / web novels that I've read over the years (I assumed you read this one too), but in the novel, the currently worked on story arc has to do about such things.

Each of the volumes seem to focus on different characters, so any cheat skills used aren't the focus of the story, and shouldn't hinder it in the long run. If anything, I'd say they are made into jokes at his expense.

It is a character focused story, thankfully, not a "check out my abilities" story (I hate these, like Solo Leveling).

I'm gonna bet that it'll be a freebie. Reason being that their time on the planet is supposed to be undisturbed no matter who comes a-knockin'. Nothing was supposed to get through their defenses, and yet they wound up being overwhelmed to the point that drop pods managed to land unscathed.

And business being what it is, that maidbot - even though it's such a highly specced model - probably cost a lot less for them to make than the price tag suggests. So it'll be no great loss for them to offer up the maidbot as compensation for failing to deter that ass-hole noble.

Besides, once the dust settles, you can bet your spaceballs they're gonna go after this fucker for punitive damages. Because from what's been implied? Not even noble status will save you if you take such actions against the machine intelligences, even if they weren't the actual targets you were after. It won't be enough to rekindle the previous war, but it will be enough to get a very pointed complaint. Something to the tune of, "You guys wanna do something about this little bitch before we do?"
