Yes that is what I was referring to. It is heavily hinted at that AI/Machines are truly in charge behind the scenes or at the very least hold a lot of power, they've just been subtle about it and or the humans don't really care because they ultimately benefit from it.

Becasue that was never her original purpose, yeah she can be a terminator but did you forget her primary function is to be our MC's partner. Being an android by default makes them insanely strong what about that doesn't make sense?

Pregnancy imposes limits on what one can safely do. Maybe less for android than for human, but pretty sure combat would be off limits for duration of 'pregnancy'. Having (sturdy) artificial womb inside best protected location of the ship, or outside of the ship entirely, would be much safer than inside Mei boarding a pirate ship. Pregnant android/gynoid would be nothing but a sexual fetish, and I'm sure some men would be all for it.

I mean obviously she wouldn't be going into battle pregnant, by your logic no women should go into battle because they have a womb and always have the possibility to be/get pregnant. Also it isn't possible for Mei to just remove it on her own, She and Hiro are only able to do basic up keep and maintenance on her body she has to go to company/workshop for any major changes to her body as we literally saw in this chapter. So Unless they have specifically bring on a robot specialist on to their ship removing it makes no sense and even that is only under the massive assumption taking in and out is regularly is feasible.

Really? I've read pretty far into the novel and he very much acts like he does here in the manga. I'd never describe him as a sleazball and certainly never see him talk about his dick like at all. Don't know what the hell those people were reading lol.

Dunno, you can probably find lots of comments talking about it in the last few chapters. Unless there is a Web novel too on top of the LN and they were talking about the WN instead.

Its the web novel I'm and the other person are talking about and seeing how the manga seems pretty one to one to the WN atm the LN couldn't be that different on his characterization since the mangas usually use the LN as reference.
