I've liked the inclusion of beloved family members who are watching over and trying to protect families.
Id like for them to delve back into how she got the ability, and maybe a final direction. The question of the horse looking thing definitely makes me think that's an enshrined god. Which would line up with what we've seen so far.

I sort of feel like the horse might be, like, a part of Miko's dad? Because we haven't really seen too many perfectly humanoid ghosts like him, so it wouldn't be strange to assume his Dad-looking form isn't his actual form and is instead just a sort of illusion / puppet / whatever that he's using to let Miko know it's him and to maintain a sense of normalcy.

It could also just be his pet horse, or Miko's grandfather, or a previous tenant, or just some random spirit he befriended. Maybe it's Batman.

The thing is, we see from the pov of the psychic wannabe girl that from the pov of someone with lower psychic ability, all the ghosts just looks vague. Miko just have way too high of psychic attunement that she can see all the scary and gory details of all the monsters in the world. If her psychic attunement is lower, probably she'll just see it as a cute vaguely horse-like creature just hanging under her kotatsu

QC issues aside, thanks for the chapter update. I enjoy these self-contained chapters which really encapsulate the Slice of Horror appeal that is fairly unique to this series.
