Thanks for the translation, but it's kind of a mess. A bunch of misspellings, bad grammar, and bad typesetting, plus nonsense like "this is yabai." Also, I'm not looking at the raw, but presumably the line on the last page shouldn't be directly addressing the dad, since nobody questions it despite not knowing she can see ghosts. "Wouldn't Dad rather eat it here at the table?"

I think it's just a spirit. Take for example that mother ghost, who thanked Miko for taking on that curse. She is NOT confined to the house, but is actively watching her son. Also note that ever since horse ghost moved in, Miko does not seem to be bothered at night, that we are aware of, by ghosts. So it may be staying around to help out because why not?

I get some mononoke vibes from this story, and it would be crazy if she ran into a medicine vendor one day....

I'm pretty sure her dad knew or at least suspected before she could see him before. He has to know now.
