@Darklight99 huh, you are right. For some reason I was sure that she had seen them for a long time. Must be because the weaker girl had? Either way, I wonder what changed in her life to cause her to suddenly become a mieruko-chan (and stronger than any others/mediums, at that). Is it dietary? Long-time exposure to leaking girl? secret governmental project?

no she did feel responsable (as she should) and try to atone by removing the weight how he's dead mother from he's shoulder

Even if that mean risking her life (like the teach that did risk he's life for a cat, nothing new but it's cool to read)

I feel like he will end up confiding with the teacher. The manga hints that the teacher is very observant, he is the only one to notice something is weird about Mieruko.

Depend on the lore he author using, she probably need to do some offering like she did at the temple. Since last time she only put some coin and pray(albeit incorrectly) it still count. So my best bet is for her to go back at that shrine and pray again and see what actually needed as offering as they deity are capable of communication to certain extent to our mc to certain extent.

I feel like the second time she got "help" was just because and it could have been better, but this arc so far seems okay.

Also this chapter made me remember how much I need updates on Prey.

@Someoneosm he said he dropped a glass which is probably true and maybe he just does not like other humans like explained in by his friend in this chapter, you really should not look for plotholes where there are none.
The author really kept things ambiguous with zen. We never saw him hurt a cat, it was just hinted at and in the end it was all just a misdirection, which is a literary device you can like or not.

This is the first manga I've read in a while where I have no idea what to expect next and the characters don't feel like fill ins for whatever archetype. Quite refreshing.

Also, for some reason the mom/ghost looks legitimately terrifying this chapter and I'm kinda regretting reading this right before bed. Those double pages are amazing.
