Literally Just artificial padding to the story while easy to write. Why is there always an annoying lesbian freak? Is it that popular of a trope in Japan?
Sigh...

how to quickly win of love in battle with Yuri
Sex Education includes Tabletop Violation and Advanced Tabletop ViolationThere needs to be a manga centered on an finishing school for menhara/yandere lesbians that trains them before they go out into the outside world. Classes on how to stalk your target, appropriate treasures to steal from them, how to write the creepiest love letter ever, really the plot writes itself.
They're typically the least harmful of the romantic rivals because you know they almost always never win. They also provide a bit more comedy relief and expand the female cast. As a female you can get them in differing scenarios compared to the male love interests. And because they're a lesbian, you know its not going to be reciprocated because someone else is on their minds. Why is there always an annoying lesbian freak? Is it that popular of a trope in Japan?

Nah, once a new 'ship' is discovered, some will drift away from their former favorite to align with the new one. From there, a new terror will arise ... a shipping war.New girl best watch her back, though. The whole class will end her if she threatens their favorite 'ship.
This is more or less true. Even though I am positively confounded with the popularity of renkano . The online opinion about it is clearly not indicative of it's sales and in the end money sets the market. Be it the isekai boom or character stereotypes.I presume they do it because people ultimately respond to it positively enough, in net-- despite any complaints.
How much do people complain about the antics in Rent-a-Girlfriend, only for it to have over 400 chapters, volume box-set options, at least four seasons of anime adaptation, AND a live-action adaptation?
This is less egregious in comparison. We're almost certainly still going to be back here next chapter. The people that like it, like it, and the people that don't are probably not dropping the work as long as this new character doesn't usurp the ML's position-- it has to get that bad.
The author posts a 3-komas every couple of days on twitter. It's just like tidbits and slice of life stuff, sometimes the plots of those get devolpled more in the official publications and intergrated into the plot. There's often guys on Twitter who translate these 3-komasHey translators, anyone know where this chapter (probably bonus chapter) is posted, if any?
