I remember at least 1 manga where it starts you off in medias res with some toxic relationships in full force and you spend the whole story trying to figure out how it's supposed to be romance.
Just gonna drop that without a title? Bro, I need my toxic relationship drama

I didn't know what I was expecting.

Well okay, maybe I was being hopeful. Maybe some Shakespeare, War and Peace, Don Quixote, The Illiad, some of any of Issac Asimov's or Ray Bradbury's work, or hell... even a book on home repairs (although I would be terrified to see her actually do any home repairs with her warped mind)

Ah... Mimi.... You could be one of the great ones.

(sarcasm over. Back to your regular rantings)

Is there a joke here that I missed?
@Astraexxv
The word used as the title, Literature, implies a certain field of study that deals with contemporary or historical work of writings or art, primarily in fiction genre. Famous works that usually come up when referring to Literature pieces are influential works such as those of H.P. Lovecraft, H.R. Giger, Terry Prachett, etc.

The literature we are seeing in this chapter is something of Yuri, a JP-focused genre involving relationship between two girls, often romantically and also implies sexually.
