Mangaupdates says chapters 16 & 17 were translated by Kirei Cake 4 years ago, so maybe what happened is that they were never uploaded to MangaDex.

Wouldn't be surprised if someone else did the chaps + KC left it because of that, the chaps got removed + KC's just now going back to it. Or something like that.


It's the wolf. Mino even goes "Are you watching right now, Hulf?" at the end (Hulf's the wolf), so it's def not just a random god character.

Ending was a little lacking but at least I get to see it's final chapter now. Seems like the mangakas stopped working on manga after this? Or their names are just too generic to search for

Actually, now that you mention it, I think MD mentioned way back when that the breach happened, the version of the site they kept was missing a few days or something (and that when they went back up, groups might have to re-up a chap or two of affected series)? So it's possible KC uploaded the day before the site went down, or something, and the chaps got eaten. Because I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have bothered going to KC's site to check up on this series specifically (well, I guess unless I went there for another series and just so happened to see this one updated too).

Well that certainly ended alright. Why end it there, just one more chapter (even a timeskip one) showing "What happened later" could've fixed this at least a little bit. This just ENDS and that it.

I know I've read it before too but I've never been to KC's site. I also don't remember if it was in english or moon but this wasn't so high on my priority that I'd go looking for it. Therefore there can only be one explanation - Mandela Effect! Some of us here clearly slipped into this world from another timeline where mexicans didn't wield so much power and the chapters were posted normally without disruption! Eloi eloi lama sabachthani!?

Rereading the whole thing, I'm so confused. It feels a lot like an axe, but the derail started back in chapter 12?

I dunno, considering how fast things lurched from one plot device to the next to make the story happen, maybe this (or something like it) was really the intended ending all along. But I wish it could have been otherwise, and the story developed more carefully.
