No matter how many chapters of this I read, I can't seem to pin down what emotion I'm supposed to be feeling.
The art style is so sharp and even the characters are designed to look creepy, so just I can't seem to drop my guard.
Like maybe I'm actually reading a psychological horror, but it's just so subtle that ever ounce of subtext flies over my head.

Sometimes my mind takes it in the opposite direction, when the joke is so straightforward but I keep looking for some kind of deeper layer.
I sometimes have to reread the chapter dozens of times before I can accept "oh, that really was the whole joke, I'm just crazy".
Every sign points to this really just being an silly off-kilter romantic comedy, but my brain has such a hard time swallowing that idea.

I feel you so much. This manga is the weirdest and strangest manga i've ever read. It's so uncanny, peculiar, absurd, or any word that resembles strangeness. But i like this feeling i've never experience in any other manga
