I think Otomi may never learn the truth at this point - when Touma's injury heals, she'd forgive Harada and that's that. Doubt that either Touma or Harada would tell her (because what for?), and if her friend's words didn't make her question the whole thing, then there's no way she'd know. I also lol'd at Otomi's friend being the only one who had suspicions about the cause of the injury, even Sou didn't doubt Touma.Aaaah man she's going to be devasted when she finds out the truth (Harada is still the GOAT since Touch)
Thanks for the chapter!

Yeah, Touma tends to overprotect Otomi which isn't good for her and them both in the long run. And in this case Touma could've just told everyone that he hit his hand or something, there was no need for Harada to take the blame for his injury (which could be very well explained by a freak accident). I also remembered that scene near the beginning of the manga where kid Touma carried Otomi up the slippery slope while his toes were bleeding. The dude doesn't seem to understand that getting hurt instead of his sister doesn't really make her happier.Yeah you may be right, they even won the match so it wouldn't make any sense to follow that route now: Touma is the type of guy who would bring this to the grave (and Harada too) and while I believe Sou felt like something was weird, he didn't want to investigate further because he knew Touma would never spill the beans.
I hope they just move on and Otomi forgives him, but this is Adachi so I won't put it past him to make a confrontation about this pop up later (as in, Otomi feeling hurt because everyone tried to "protect her" by not telling the truth)!
I think he'll remain a catcher - after all, he's possibly the best in Japan in his age group. And seeing how much workout he needs to play consistently at Touma's level, he may as well say "screw you guys, I'm going home!" (literally).I feel like Sou will be happy as a relief pitcher and maybe even prefer being a catcher in the end.
Touma seems to know how to approach each player - Ryou needs to believe in himself a bit, Koma needs to know exactly where to aim. He's pretty observant, so who knows, maybe he could be just as good a catcher as his big bro?... It'd be fantastic if both brothers could play half match a pitcher, half match a catcher. And Gorou is super lucky to have both of these genius players on the team, they even direct the game in his stead. I think that if Kashiwaba had coached them, this Meisei would've already won two or three Koshiens.Lol "Believers will be saved" I love that Ryou was like "Senpai says these are my favorite, so I have to hit it." Touma just out here sending good vibes
I think so too! Sou could have been a great pitcher if he'd trained for it like Tou, but he's a natural catcher/coach/trainer haha (Love the Cartman reference)I think he'll remain a catcher - after all, he's possibly the best in Japan in his age group. Early on in the series, I had little plot bunnies in my head of just this! like when they were kids taking turn playing catcher, I wondered if maybe one day Touma would hurt himself or something and not be able to pitch a full game, and then these two would shock everyone by swapping gear and continue kicking ass 😁It'd be fantastic if both brothers could play half match a pitcher, half match a catcher.
