As someone who barely watches anime I gotta say it is one hell of an unbalanced industry. For example, a random mangaka can pop off with great epic art and paneling, but I ain't seeing any indie studio being able to do the same thing, with anime. It feels so money centric and not really relying on pure passion like a lone mangaka does. It just feels depressing knowing your fav manga is gonna be adapted by a studio with zero experience/super ass experience and you just know they are gonna shit on it to get the paycheck. Only ultra popular stuff and Shonen Jump series get to have the good studios for themselves, the rest is playing gacha. I also fucking hate the 11/12/13 episodes per season bullshit they use as well, intentionally hurting the story for dumbass reason.Man, hearing about all the shit the Anime cut out because they wanted to stick closer to the novels... How much you wanna bet that one never gets a second season? Kinda hoping the anime will get rebooted under another staff and using the manga as the adaptation source instead.
BTW: @toruscans Any idea when we'll be seeing more? I know things can be tough, but it's been three months now. I really don't want to see someone take over scanslating this title and doing a craptastic so-bad-its-not-even-"so-bad-its-funny"-type-of-bad.
Oh and the cheap ass CGI really needs to go, I would rather watch slideshow than the offensively bad CGI again.
As someone who has a liking for this manga I really hope the anime went forgotten for good. This doesn't need to have an anime that will do it justice, cause that ain't happening, cause ain't anyone love it enough to blow money onto it.
