Since cards can evolve, and Imp is E rank card, plus this one is a rare girl card, it kinda locks her evolution path, no?

On another note, monster card as a drop is super rare, and the higher the rank, the more rare for it to drop.

Had to go back and glance through the first chapter and it looks like a defeated monster has an extremely rare chance to drop a card of itself. Though I bet there is some type of condition that increases the chance of getting a card from a monster like befriending them or something along those lines.

In my knowledge imp r monster that play trick with their opponent or use magic to attack, since they can evo then succubus maybe one of the path, or gargoyle since they can fly n focus more to the fire power...

Yes there's more evolution path for most monsters, but since MC already have magic attacker in Renka, a trickster/trickster would be a better addition for his team, unless MC wants to go all in on damage.

I don't know if the author realizes it, but that clap to shake the MC out of his internal monologue just canonized something hilarious. Whenever there is a long explanation about something, it's literally the MC going over all of that in his head, meanwhile he's silently staring into space in the real world.

The fact no one interrupts him but Renka means everyone else knows he's like this and they've developed a tolerance for it.

The meme is canon.

Free to choose as long as the next rank card is provided as a sacrifice/base and it's from the same race (undead for undead, demon for demon) up to C rank.
There's actually a wiki of sort about evolution path of known monster, and MC did use it for his evo plan
