🎓 Academy Arc

★ One day, while Reina and Clael are doing their usual church duties, a Cardinal from the central church shows up he’s responding to Clael’s letter that he found the Saintess. Clael feels it’s time for Reina to go to the central church and enter the academy, and informs the Cardinal.

★ On day one, Prince Eric Saincle falls hard and tries to keep Reina by his side. She rejects him flat. Also, Eric already has a fiancée from a duke’s house.

I love how the guardian spirits protect like the knights in shining armor. I wonder where were the guardian spirits in the original otome plot.

Reina goes off by herself for a few months but absolutely can’t handle being away from Clael. She “persuades” the church to promote Clael (I think Saint of Education?) and make him a teacher at the academy. It obviously only happens because of pressure from Reina, but Clael is actually well suited for both roles. His noble education plus raising Reina were good preparation, and he's quite strong because his holy power leveled up so much from Reina's love. He becomes a popular teacher, which causes some minor stress for Reina as girls start flocking around him.

If I remember correctly, the story bounces between the two places until they are reunited. The church tried to get Clael married off so Reina would move on, but every candidate mysteriously ends up getting in a better situation (reunited with long-lost love, etc.) and withdraws. Reina also left some stuffed animals behind to protect Clael (which included keeping women with romantic intentions away from him).

Why do people insist that MC is grooming FMC? Is it reading incomprehension? Or are they just projecting something?

I mean, it is clear as day as to where this is going. There is no bait-and-switch here. There is no out-of-left-field curve ball that would shock anyone that has two braincells to rub together.

MC and FMC will be the pairing. This will obviously involve an older FMC and MC later down the line of course, but at the same time...
