I imagine the OG guy also stuck with this task but fail to come back in time to help his dad.. hence going down to a dark path and eventually kill that noble lady due to hatred that his father was unable to survive because the task given by the noble.

That said, I have no idea what happen next, will it follow the cliche everyone expect I wonder.
