Looking at their other games, this has to be tongue in cheek, but the sad part is I could totally see someone doing this entirely sincerely.
this got me thinking, does the catjolic church actually have a protocol for teaching aliens about jesus ? or does their religious beleifs tells thel that no such thing exists.

also, it's gonna be fun to see how the presence of demon girls is answered by catholicm.

ironically, sloth.

anyone else would fight for first place, but her? no. she's gonna cook that there pork chop til it's either burnt or "congratulation", versus everybody just hunting the source

(dumbass argument, I know, since herbivores and omnivores exist)

there's a catholic themed monstergirl dating visual novel in development.
while I persoanlly hate religion, I can't help but smirk and like the concept.
total human victory over lesser cultures hell yeah.

This is a condensed review of what I posted on the discord:
I have finished exploring all five routes available in the demo. And let me just say, it sure is a VN of all time :haa:

The art is pretty good, if a bit quirky. I felt you only really had 4 good options out of the main 5 FMC cast. One just did not have anything that really made her feel distinct or different or even worth pursuing. The best guy friend was just kind of okay, if a bit author-self-insert-ish.

Now the question you've probably been wondering: how did they handle the Catholic aspect of the game? In one word: poorly. I felt it was severely Catholic-info heavy from the second you step foot on campus. I would have preferred they kinda sprinkled it throughout and handled it a bit more tastefully and not just info dumped things.

Overall: could be worth it bros

oooh, I really like that angle of aproach ngl. so essentially its more of a case of:those are actually aliens, they just so happen to really closely match us that they're the same species (infinite possibilities in an infinite universe means that technically you coudl traverse it and find a perfect copy of yourself kind of deal, but instead its monstergirls).

it is lowkey really smart and I apreciate the dev's decision.

iirc, the in-game explanation is that they're actually descendants of the Nephilim (from Genesis chapter 6) and they were all found on some distant land separate from humans

the theological implications alone would be worth a separate book to talk about.
