But this is a sequel and the first manhwa wasn't about Murim but reaching enlightenment. I'm not sure what you came in expecting but I expected a lot of talking haha.

I m super confused and I have no idea what’s going on in the story after dark went through his transformation. Can somone summarize or explains what happening?

I dropped this. The genderswap thing was fine/good. It introduced some actual stakes and tension to an otherwise boring and aimless story. Around chapter 45 or so the story falls right off a fucking cliff and becomes unreadably bad.

I created an account just to talk about how disappointing this is.
To start no this is not about the gender swap it was done in an alright way and works out in story. the story just gets butchered like a fat pig chapter 39-50 by the writer making multiple central characters act outside of their usual self to advance the plot in the way they want instead of a natural way the characters would realistically

personally I cannot with a good conseince recommend reading this the story is fine until chapter 39 and beyond where focus is taken from the pre-established characters and placed upon new ones that were villians not too long ago. However one thing I will give this is that the art is done AMAZINGLY if you can turn your brain off or just want to see the art it qould be worth some time just don't bother with the story.

I'm on chapter 56 and really don't understand what the complaining in here is about. It's been fine. The proofreading could use a little more work, but it's been fine. Some of the comments in here sound like people just wanted the main character palling around with the mercenary group and decimating knights and bandits the entire time. I think the political intrigue and Dark finding his way back to a place of power after losing it all is infinitely more interesting.

For real, though. The translation is so up and down. Some of the groups are very good, but then those groups end their translations and another who is much less good takes over. There are grammatical errors all over the place. There are inconsistent translations for names. Characters who should be referring to Dark as a man refer to him as a woman, and vice versa with characters who should only know him as a woman referring to him as a man. It's just very spotty all over the place. That's honestly been my biggest gripe so far (as of chapter 87).
