The writing is pretty childish. The art is uninspiring but clean and pleasant.

I think the author might be quite young. I hope they keep at it and eventually learn how to write stories with more emotional depth.

5/10: Bland and inoffensive. I read it to kill some time. I recommend it for that.

I'll be sure to remember it, although finding manga like this, apart from few super popular ones that are already being translated is like finding a needle in a haystack.

There is "Single parent" tag in anime-planet, but like 90% of them are "dad/daughter", 5% "mother/son" and another 5% "mother/daughter".

There seems to be a lot of good fantasy mangas in all three categories, but they are very few and far in between.

Non fantasy ones seem to be either Yaoi/BL related or have romance drilled into them, which kinda takes away from "SINGLE PARENT" aspect of manga.

Ironically enough, if you try searching for this manga or literally any other "Mother/daughter" type manga like "Land of Leadale" or "I've been killing slimes for 300 years" on anime-planet, there won't be "Single parent" tag. Fuck me ig.

Actually, maybe if you interested, want to take on "Land of Leadale"? It's pretty wholesome, although last I read it was 7 months ago, and I don't think it had laser focus on MC and her foster child. Maybe in future chapters, but idk.
