she is a tremendous waifu with an enormous plot
It's actually not as convenient as you say. She has an ammo pouch with limited storage that she needs to carry on her person since the transfer magic has a limited range. So it isn't infinite ammo, just no reloading with the limited ammo that little pouch can carry. Still completely out of nowhere and oddly convenient magic stones and all, bad writing just to include a gun because the author wanted her to use one. But it has rules that are explained.Just take this little "invention" an automatic reloading gun. That is essentially a repeating nay an automatic pistol with infinite ammo, so why not just make a gatling gun at that point?

There has to be a manastone on the pouch, the spell on it may have a short range and not allow for a bigger bag, but she only has the one pouch and it's mentioned that manastones can't be made, so her ammo is still limited during a fight. She can obviously carry more to refill the pouch, but doing so in combat would be challenging at best. Again, most of that was explained, the rest is just me theory crafting.a bigger pouch

a barrel full of ammo, on a cart, you sit on top
Infinite ammo is clearly a hyperbole, but it is only an issue of ergonomics, on how much ammo an individual can carry, when the issue of inserting it into the gun has been removed.
Really should've thrown a line of "the manastones are only good for so many shots" and the most blatant problem is solved.
Well, can't wait for WW1 of this world to occur in few decades.
I knew I should've specified, I don't know why I didn't. Full plate armor eventually got obsolesced. Obviously armor still exists, but it mostly covers the torso and top of the head, and while thick steel plates are available for such armor, ceramic plates are far more common. Nothing like the full-body tin cans of yore.Armor never got obsolesced by firearms. In fact modern military are still wearing armor..
Armor has always been a choice between cost, mobility, and protection. And depending on historical period and tactics armor has never really disappeared. It simply became more personal and specialised.
Well, on that matter I did say it depended on a lot of factors. And the longbow wasn't the armor-piercer most people believe it to be. To get that punching power on plate armor with a warbow you have to let the enemy get uncomfortably close and use a heavy bodgkin tip.
"What's up everybody, my name's Serena and you're watching Astra Ballistics.Wow, a silenced derringer without the need to reload?
That's quite OP for an assassin weapon.
What's next?
An elephant gun with a high-power scope?
