Do you even read the web novel? I agree that Grid's personality was shit from the beginning but that's all. He changed from Greedy from caring his guildmates. Also grid can be pronounced as greed.

yes, yes I did read the web novel.
I have not read all of it yet, but I have read quite a bit.
And while he is not as bad as when he started out, he is still a greedy asshole who only cares for his guildmates because it benefits himself in the long run.
Yes, he does care for them, but only as long as it ALSO benefits him.
Not mentioning how he treats everybody who isent part of his guild...

He was still being an asshole to the people around him when I stopped, sure he is a bit nicer to some people like

But he is still a greedy ass who was treating them and everyone else poorly by that point... just a bit less than before.
