True, but they could still gotten away with it thou. They are not in hostilities with the Dwarf Queen's country. (The lady was there enjoying herself). A simple apology, a few excuses and a few beheading could have happened but not to the extent of starting a war. If they were to truly want to start a war, they either need to kill or brutally torture Aix. Throwing him in jail would only force them to do an investigation first before they reach that point.

I would prefer them to throw in jail for a bit then panic in releasing afterwards. At least we are a step closer in getting rid of the viscount if we went on that direction. Now we have to wait on the Royal family to do something again which is going to take for a long time with how this manga is paced.
