You know, I used to think that if these 2 teachers got together, it might be the end of the series, but now I'm starting to wonder if it could continue with Momko's delusion shifting to "Even though I'm a married / taken woman" instead.

To be fair, now it's evolved to where multiple people are having delusional fantasies which crash into mundane reality, and that element can definitely be kept.
