So Black presumably saw his close companions pink and blue pass away presumably but held it together, continuing to work while still finding the time to bond with 4 children? 😭

Glad to hear the series isn't axed yet. This chapter really got my interest regarding the Rangers organization, and it would have been a shame for it to end in just two chapters right after teasing a bigger background setting.

More cute, fluffy Pink too.

This chapter alone could be a one-shot. Great story.

Finding out so much about the rangers, how they become rangers and formed bonds...I just want to read more and more about them. Squid black is the dad who has been through the most and is always on the night shift. I didn’t appreciate him enough before.

I still can’t figure out the characters exact ages but Blue is definitely at least 20 since he can drink. And him and Pink’s age gap isn’t too large since they were both kids when they joined. I wanna say Pink is currently 17/18 while Blue is 20/21? Black is definitely mid/late twenties maybe early 30’s. He was probably the youngest of his old squad which makes him having to raise/mentor the children of his deceased friends even more sad. 🥲

i think the rangers and the evil army should just be friends
Given that the alien army's home planet is on the rocks (I'm guessing their sun's reaching the end of its life-span?), the alien army should just rent uninhabited parts of earth (like Antarctica, inland Greenland, and the Taklamakan Desert), while beginning a cultural/technological exchange and terraforming Mars.

So whose yellow then? There should be one right
From what I recall when I watched those shows, the colours were somewhat variable. There's always a red and a blue, but yellow and pink are somewhat interchangeable, as are black and green. White, purple, and orange, while not unheard of, are exceedingly rare.
