Yeah based on the established rules of this world with levels and all that, there is no reason for this demon general to survive one hit. There just isn't.

Normally I would agree but experience plays a huge part in battles regardless of level. But also the story tells us that the former hero mistook this demon for the demon lord because of how unbelievably powerful he was and that they could only beat him by sealing him away after countless sacrifices. The story is telling us exactly how badly the mc is gonna lose by having rushed into this battle thinking that a higher level is all that matters.

welp it doesn't help that the webnovel got removed and the translation of it got wiped as well... because the group has been defunct... now we really need to wonder what happens next... i mean the NU page was even wiped as well probably from a take down notice from the publisher in japan.... this series is working with a publisher famous for doing this crap if they got more control from the author in their contract agreement.... and this will also fast track different adaptations for the series.... but this kind of thing will happen....

Who- Oh, Alphapolis. I recently got one of their official translations (Reincarnated Granny manga Vol. 1) and holy shit, it was bad. As in "Tell me you're using unedited MTL without telling me you're using unedited MTL" levels.

Just as I was thinking it was a completely braindead and immature maneuver to try and fight these demons at the capital immediately after obtaining the limit break the story goes and confirms it was indeed a braindead and immature decision. Why did they think this would work so easily when they barely have any real battle experience. Like it wasn’t that long ago they all got their asses handed to them by a guy who was significantly lower level than them just because he was more experienced and had a somewhat tricky skill.

nah my guess is the opposite, he'll one shot the demon since he's become too strong, hence the part where" all their preparations has gone to waste", because in a way they've wasted months preparing for this, time is the most precious resource after all. But then again there's that "time magic" skill that's been teased in the early chapters...

well i do agree with the braindead part tho, it's indeed braindead, just in the opposite way.
