It's cute. I'm still not sure if I would have liked the premise of having the same world girl knowing about the other one from the outset would have been better like in the one shot, but this could turn interesting too.

This is very likely what is happening.

Why would she need to travel to another world, if her supposed boyfriend is alive and well?
Possibilities:
1- He died (for some reason)
2- He joined the "dark side" in multi-verse gang (I probably watched too much Rick & Morty episodes recently to get that idea running)
3- He got another alternate version of Miyato in her world to make an harem and made her angry. (then she knows the existence of the multi-verse and go to steal one for herself and the cycle continues)

I personally believe more in the first possibility.
There is probably a rule somewhere in the multi-verse that say "all Jogo will always die whatever the timeline", and they are now going to break that "rule" to save the last Jogo-kun.
A little fantastic but works for me.

The third one is cool too but it also applies that there is still applies that there one Jogo-kun that got killed to start all of this mess.

Still, I can only imagine what kind of (blazingly complex and yet absurd) scenario the author is cooking to us

This gives me rental 👧 vibes for some reason. And the one-shot still felt much better. Not a fan of the "one of the fmc will die" plot.
it really does suck that we are basically analyzing this in parallel with Split GF and the trash romcom has better: Writing, Pacing, Character Motivations, Implicit Plot Contrivance, comedy, drama, character development, character design, and pages per chapter while having a central mystery of why the wishes went so horrifically wrong.

having two similar works happening around the same time is fine, but the fact these are nearly a circle for a venn diagram just highlights the worst of each... which is to say the extremely chibified Art of Split Girlfriend and the everything else of Multiversal GF. at least with Split Girlfriend the Art Inconsistency is a deliberate choice, where as here i look at some of the art and am just struck by how bad it actually is

Hmm... these two's appearances, personalities, and dynamic reminds me a hell lot of something...

At this point I would just break the news about the alternate reality version of her, I get why they're keeping it secret but I feel like she deserves to know.

What if . . . . . The other universe was attacked by aliens indeed? And then that's how the other Miyato was able to jump to other universe???

Jokes aside, I agree with most people here. The vibe of the series seems to be quite different than the one shot, which kind of a bummer :///

Thank you for the sl!

I really liked the oneshot, but think this is just not for me. The things I loved about the oneshot seem to be more or less sidelined, and the main character feels very lacklustre. Shame they didn't keep the energy of the oneshot.

Girl, you got this all backwards. You don't fall for someone and then start dating them. That's for largely unrealistic love-at-first-sight fiction. (Amd yes, I know this is a manga.)

In real life, you generally find someone you're interested in, then date to get to know each other better and figure out if you're compatible, and then fall in love as you date.

So basically, they should absolutely be dating right now.

This reeks of editor meddling. It's garbage. The approach taken in oneshot was vastly superior to having a subpar clone of Ruka from a parallel universe. Such a tragic sight.

So what really happened here was that the mangaka wanted to have a surprising ending to chapter 1 in order to catch people's attention, but had no idea how to continue the story from there so he skipped resolving the cliffhanger in chapter 2 and now retconned it out of existence with chapter 3.

Girl, if you didn't act fast your other half might steal him for herself.
