@PotatoZero Its possible but he's implied to be somewhat skilled and cutting through another sword is actually an insane feat no matter how bad the sword is. You are at the very least cutting through metal which should be impressive unless you screw up your fantasy power levels or misunderstand how swords work in the first place.

Its true he could have been scamming them though since he did sell them said superior weapon in the end.

Ok, so I get that the sword was cut in half because of his super strength bracing it for her, and cutting another sword is currently a debunked cinema effect, but does she have super strength too and does he make dummy swords to test all his swords with? I wonder if the novel has this bit written down as is, or if its a corner cut by the artist(s).
