I guess being classless is like having all classes in this isekai

@Fuko I think it is a little different. (I THINK, not know) The main factor is that because he is classless, he doesn't have to worry about his natural aptitude inhibiting his capacity to have other pursuits. Unlike a swordsman, who is only good at the sword, he can be well-trained in the spear, the bow, the lance, smithing, etc.. Yes, he has to work even harder in comparison to others who have their natural aptitude, but he can become just as capable as they can, while having decent capability in other stuff.

Edit: and yeah, like the person below me, this isn't actually an isekai. Now, whether this will make a difference in the grand scheme of things, I don't know.

@Fuko first no it's not an isekai
second it's more of "others get a head start on you but you can achieve it with hard work blablabla "kinda premise

Practice makes perfect. You can have all the skills you want, but if you don't know its nooks and crannies, then your no different from a novice.

@Fuko yeah that's what i was thinking too. He's not tied down to anything class so he basically do whatever the hell he wants

Also... I always find it hilarious when there is someone who takes pride in being a swordsman. No one in the entire age of swords and armor did anyone feel exhilarated when the sword was their only option. When people called it a sidearm, they called it that for a reason. Generally, anyone who goes into combat will be carrying a pole-arm as their main weapon. The sword was when said pole-arm broke, and even then, it was preferable to have a bludgeoning weapon like a mace, or a heavy piercing weapon like a crow hammer, because of the armor your opponent no doubt had on.

@Soccer1223 : No, classless as in he has no Skills to help him out. (as with the title, "it's not like I really need any Skill")

That said, from checking what I can see in the RAW of the manga(ch 5 and 6 are on public view atm)
He basically kickass without reliance on skills.

An interesting moment include:
In a '1 v 1, fight til you lose' tournament, with the goal of defeating 10 people as a team.
He took down 9 already.

The last guy uses Iai (sword drawing stance)
MC casually walk into 'killing range' just because he want to see.
Iai guy draw.
MC evaded
MC "You're certainly the fastest I've seen in this town, but" - I've been taught by someone much faster.
And used "piercing tempest", his mother's secret move, to beat the guy down.

Cue "holy shit wasn't that the Sword Princess's skill!?" "I couldn't see what he did!" etc etc

Normally, this kind of situation would be shown with a MC who is a jack of all trades, master of none, but in this case, I believe, while still a jack of all trades, he has the potential to also become a master of all trades, as he has no real physical limits, at least not yet from what we’ve seen.

I see, if they rely too much on skills, a talented person can easily defeat them.
...
Hopefully a group scanlator will pick up this series, seems good.
