Dude, it's the exact same except she's got a little less cheek fat. And considering he got that wand from Roxy, I don't buy he wouldn't notice it.

I chalked it up to being a poorly done writing necessity rather than a logical story.

@Yautja She has a different hair color due to how she forced land during the incident (not sure if it was properly mentioned or illustrated in the manga.) The shades hides her eyes as well, which is a part of her redeeming laplace trait back then ( Green hair and red eyes if im not mistaken.) If i remember correctly, shes trying to use a more manly tone as well, since shes posing as a male bodyguard. Thats plenty enough.

About the wand though, im not sure about it If its the same one in the LN/WN.

Also, even a little bit of change here and there makes a character to be unrecognizable by the protagonist and everyone around them for some reason in fictional stories -not that im saying that its a result of a decent writing.

it is the same one, she still uses it because rudy gave it to her. it's also the one roxy gave to him. he noticed that she was using a trainee wand in his entry test and thought it was weird, but apparently it's a common design.

Don't forget that he promised Sylphy to go back to how he was before he found out Sylphy was a chick.
So he decided to become a harem protagonist around Sylphy, and I guess his subconciousness remembered it.
