Man it always sucks when you find a long series and boom missing 10 chapters, anyone know why several random chapters where removed?

@Daeat The missing chapters were translated by a group called Renzokusei Scans. The group had hundreds of chapters of many a manga uploaded, but apparently the group owner removed them all from Mangadex due to personal reasons. Some collaboration releases still remain. By visiting the group page, you may learn a little bit more if you are interested.

You forgot the part about him fapping it to pedo stuff including pics of his niece during said family funeral. The series was also NOT the "Grandfather of Isekai as we know it" since pretty much the bulk of major isekai started before or within a year of this one so the odds of this having been some major inspiration is dubious at best and false at worst.

Actually, I'm not really mad at this anymore. 2 days ago when I wrote that comment I was at chapter 6. Now I'm at chapter 44.
So My opinion about this has changed quite a lot.
This story is different than typical isekais nowadays. Rather than flashy fights, It illustrates human emotions and relations greatly. The MC makes mistakes but he regrets and learns from them. He cares for his companions and family. Though many seem to complain every time he or any other character mess up but I like how they learn from them. Because IRL your life doesn't go the way you want. You need to adapt to these situations and move forward.
And You can feel the characters growing before your eyes. from an infant to the age of 3, 5, 6,8 10, 11, 13... it feels as if he's growing before your eyes.

When Eris first appeared I thought - Just get over with this tuition arc quickly and return to Sylphy.
But now as Eris isn't with them it feels really empty. Please return quickly. Don't wait till the climax of the story.

the manga's vibes switched completely, idk it felt more realistic or tense during the whole teleport thing and his dad being gloomy and then slowly degraded back into this feeling of comfort where it currently stands, it felt more "immersive" then? dont really know how to explain it but it made me feel a certain way

I read the novel and anyone who wants a reason to drop this can read this:

He ends up in a weird-ass polyamorous marriage. Marries 3 people. they were sylphette, roxy, and eris. The dumbest shit. Also has six kids with all of them.
It was a fun ride till like the middle of the school arc tho.

Manga isn't bad. its a rough start especially with those translations though. That said, it will certainly rub some people the wrong way. It does great job of showing its true colors though, so decide in the first few chapters if you like it or not.
Anime is really enjoyable so far. It does a great job at conveying these first few chapters. Normally anime adaptions seem rushed to me, but this one actually seems to have given it more time than the manga so I highly recommend it. First 3 episodes cover the first 4 chapters. That said, the story has not truly started yet. And... it looks like the translators of ch 7-10, where the story started, took down their translations. Dang.... was looking forward to re-reading

"A 34-year-old NEET..."
"...he has the knowledge of a middle-aged man, by the age of two, he has already become a prodigy..."

I wonder what kind of knowledge a 34-year-old NEET has
