It is not like Usagi Drop. It will not come out of no where. Hasn't it been clear enough where this is headed? As I said in a previous post, this is like a lumbering Celestial taking its sweet ass time approaching a planet. Think car speed in the vast distance of space kind of lumbering.

There is no need for spoilers. I don't even know the LN or WN. The whole thing will be having FMC going for the Father route 100%.

If it doesn't, then it'll be an unexpected about face. THAT will be the whole Usagi Drop situation where something suddenly changed at the last minute.

yeah Usagi Drop comparison is completely pointless. First, he didn't actually raised the girl. Second, the "reincarnation" literally dropped him in the middle of the plot. People keep throwing "daughter" "father" around but as far as MC is concerned, she is not at all related to him on a fundamental level. Because he is literally not her father. You can't expect someone to have actual fatherly feelings for some girl he has met 2 weeks ago. He is doing all this so he doesn't get killed (and he is a good guy to begin with). Daughter side of things are ofc off but since the "affection" levels are a game mechanic in this world, even her behavior can be tied to it as she was starved for attention apparently and now her father is quite literally a different man entirely.

Maybe affection levels never meant to be raised by anyone other then the love interests and as a result, we have this clusterfuck.
