We also shouldn't forget that Goto married her when she was still in high school, and she was already pregnant with Ken. He was a college student at the time. Although we readers have seen enough circumstantial evidence to think that Ken might not be his, he had no way of knowing back then and he still married her anyway, which implies that he did do the nasty with her enough times to think he's responsible for the pregnancy.

However, I have a lingering suspicion in my mind that he always knew she was a crazy whore, and he married her not because he thought he was her babby daddy, but because he himself was never fully sane.
