We also shouldn't forget that Goto married her when she was still in high school, and she was already pregnant with Ken. He was a college student at the time. Although we readers have seen enough circumstantial evidence to think that Ken might not be his, he had no way of knowing back then and he still married her anyway, which implies that he did do the nasty with her enough times to think he's responsible for the pregnancy.

It never hit me fully that she must have gotten pregnant when she was still in high school. The father is spineless but often thinks with his dick instead of his brain. Everyone is hating on the mom for cheating but the dad still had sex with someone underage which is waaaaaay worse imo.

true, the wife used some shady drugs mixed with booze in the past and it was shown that moe consumed it one time in a flashback, that makes me question who gave it to gotou? was it moe herself? or gotou himself is to blame?.
i suppose you could blame some of the wife cheating/behavior to the drugs+booze, makes you wonder if she was taking meds even back in the past.
