Yeah that's true. Even in the original work by HP Lovecraft, everyone is suffering from sleep talking of the main horror's hiberation in it's underwater city. It could be dreaming of sitting in paradise surrounded by it's family while saying, "Mama! You're back! I missed you so much" and everyone else hears it as "!@##@$@$@#$@#$?" and has horrible anxiety, depression commits acts of violence and evil from something that is originally so wholesome.
