Sword Saint died, the barrier was broken (can't remember how but probably by Takatou), the Devil dropped dead on the spot, Goddess went nut (cause she was his bitch) and tried to destroy everything... you know her result. The sage who was dispatched to deal with Takatou caught a glimpse of his power and peed herself, then decided to run away instead --- smart move, she managed to keep her life. Rick became new Sword Saint and direct subordinate of Holy Queen who have been freed from barrier. Then they moved to capital.
On the way, Takatou casually killed the world eater and save the world itself.
