@Kidayuki
I have been reading the translated version of the novel in Webnovel App.
Also you can sense that Jiho has feelings for Dan-i in novel than in the manhwa. Though the translated version doesn't reach the chapters where Dan-i and Yeo Dan would be dating yet. Huhuhu
I am trying my best not to read each time there is an update because I want to cry every time it ends in a cliffhanger.. but it still gets the better of me. Can't resist 🤧
He is one of the love interest. However, the problem with him is he's kinda slow towards showing his affection to Dan-i meanwhile Jiho has been outright expressing his emotions. I guess that's the downside stanning him. But the good news is there's an alternate ending where Dan-i and Chunyoung would end up together.
He's still one of the six main characters but it's always been Chunyoung or Jiho that the author pushes for Dan-I. Also, it's kind of a reverse harem so characters will shift in and out of the spotlight. Chunyoung is the first guy to get the spotlight, so to speak, so he's more prominent at the beginning but Jiho gets a lot of time to shine in upcoming arcs and if you re-read the beginning and pay attention, you'll kind of pick up on a lot of subtle cues that hint at Jiho's feelings for Dan-I.
I dunno why everyone thinks slow = less affectionate because Chunyoung is indeed slow on the uptake (i.e. realizing his feelings) but he's actually more forward about showing his feelings for Dan-I than Jiho is. (More novel spoilers)
I mean he kissed her on the cheek twice while we have Jiho over here awkwardly pulling Dan-I in for a hug he can't even hold for more than 10 seconds.
Chunyoung kinda does what he wants without fear of rejection. Jiho is more self-aware but the story points out that he's a bit of a coward when it comes to his feelings for Dan-I (Jiho admits he's one too).
